Going Back to the Heart of Cardiology Resident/Fellow Scholarship Program

Application Period:  June 24, 2024 – November 4, 2024

We are inviting cardiology residents and fellows from US programs to participate and attend the Going Back to the Heart of Cardiology conference, January 24-26, 2025, at The Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel, Miami, Florida.

  • MedscapeLIVE! will provide you with a complimentary registration to the conference taking place January 24-26, 2025 at The Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel, Miami, Florida. Daily scan-in and attendance is required.
  • Meals as indicated on the program agenda are provided.
  • MedscapeLIVE! will cover up to two (2) nights hotel stay at The Fontainebleau Miami Beach between Friday, January 24 and Sunday, January 26. Please indicate your check-in/out dates on the application form.

Qualifications

Applicants must be a US resident in good standing with their program.

Resident’s Commitment

Mandatory participation in all general sessions and workshops designated for residents from Friday, January 24 through Sunday, January 26. Upon check-in to the conference, you will receive information on required sessions and will be scanned into all sessions to verify attendance.

Failure to meet the full attendance requirement as stated above will result in forfeiture of your registration, reimbursement to MedscapeLIVE! for your hotel room costs, and disqualification for all conference awards and prizes.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON CANCELLATION: You must cancel by Friday, December 13.  If you cancel after December 13, you will be responsible for a $389 charge to offset your hotel room costs.

Selection Criteria

Following the application deadline, all materials will be submitted to a committee for review and selection. Demographic information will not be considered in the selection process. Data points are voluntarily being collected by MedscapeLIVE! to monitor diversity at our conference, to ensure outreach and audience engagement efforts effectively meet company goals focused on creating an equitable space for all attendees. In our efforts to be equitable and inclusive, MedscapeLIVE! strives to ensure each applicant is not only welcome to apply, but also feels safe and protected when disclosing this information.

Applications close Monday, November 4. All applicants will be notified by Monday, November 18.
